True love or False hope?

HI all!
When Jack came to Cerra, he was mourning his wife's death. He came to Cerra in the first place, just to forget about his wife and consequently indulged himself in work. He got mixed with the lamination politics and then he met Eve...a LaMB.

Since he came to Cerra in grief for his beloved wife, is it justified to say that he truly loved but still fell in love with Eve?

Think about it. Can a man fall in true love with two people at the same time? Or is it, that Jack's love for one of the two was simply false? Under the moon's light, false and short. Or does it mean that Jack was able to succeed in forgetting his wife? Whatever it is, I am just too excited about it, and I hope their love succeeds! ^_^

  1. I don't think Jack indulged in his work because he wanted to forget about his former wife per se. Instead he wanted to forget about his grief and try to move on.

In a Christian marriage, there is a vow of a man and a woman to love each other until their death. If the other person dies, the widowed still continues to commit himself. However their marriage ends there. The widowed can still continue to love another person as a husband or wife.

And so, I think, the love of Jack for two women can still be both TRUE. The form of love he can give for each is different this time. His former wife in the form of remembering her love.

  2. Even so, love is not determined by religion, but by man himself. can a man true love, forget love with the end of marriege. That would be kinda hypothetic, or even hypocricy.

  3. True, love is not bound by religion, however, marriage is bound by religion.

Love can still exist without the marriage.

Still, I believe Jack would not forget his former wife just because she died, only his grief. Like I said earlier, his love for his former wife will not disappear even if he re-marries.
